In the night of October 5, 2024, an unknown perpetrator in Hildesheim-Daughter tried to break into a family home. The attacker tried to pry up the back terrace door, but was surprised by a resident and immediately fled. Despite an extensive police operation, including a helicopter, the perpetrator was able to escape.
