In the night of October 3 to 4, 2024, there was a scandalous incident in Elze, district of Mehle: A previously unknown perpetrator sprayed three swastikas in a glaring pink color on the road and a back wall of a distributor. The police immediately initiated an investigation due to the use of indicators of unconstitutional organizations and for property damage.
In addition, various painting utensils were discovered on October 6, 2024 in the Eizum forest area by a chairman of the forest cooperative. Experts suspect that these objects have been disposed of with a van or a similar vehicle. The police are now looking for witnesses who can provide information on the incidents.
