Large railway disorders in February: Metronom uses buses!

Travelers in the regional train between Lüneburg and Hamburg have to expect significant restrictions on train traffic in February. The metronome railway company has announced that trains are partially replaced by buses between the 7th and 13th February. The reason for this measure is construction site work that is carried out on the course.

The main affected is the RB 31 line, which holds at all the train stations on the go. In addition, the trains of the RE 3 will only temporarily drive to Hamburg-Harburg. In order to avoid inconvenience, Metronom recommends that travelers inform themselves online or by phone about the current timetables and to plan additional time for the trips. Even in January there were already delays and failures on the metronome lines Re4 and RB41, such as ndr.de reported.
