In the night of Wednesday, around 1 a.m., the police in Minden-Lübbecke became aware of a heavily alcoholic e-scooter driver. The 25-year-old ignored the red light at the Artilleriestraße intersection and simply continued-a behavior that the officials could not tolerate. During the subsequent control it turned out that the driver had disregarded the traffic rules several times.

After his arrest and a blood sample on the police station, the driver's license was taken away. The police urgently point out that e-scooter drivers and drivers are tied to the alcohol boundaries and have to consider important rules, including the use of cycle paths and compliance with traffic signs. All e-scooter users should remember the incident: driving pleasure only goes with responsibility!
