Northeim, Deutschland - Mike, a 19-year-old from Kalefeld, is currently doing an internship in the old and nursing home internal mission. As hna is part of the company-oriented vocational training (Bob) of the Northeimer Harz-Weser-Werke (HWW), in which Mike is normally employed. Previously, he had completed a one -year measure in the field of wood processing in the HWW vocational training sector. The opportunity to do an internship in the old people's home resulted from the contact of his group leader Lars Meier with the facility.
For four months, Mike has been working "on a trial" in the building technology of the old people's home. His practical activities include the painting of benches, the care of green areas, the removal of weeds, planting beds, leaf removal and mowing the lawn.
