On March 29, 2025, there was a traffic accident in Emstek, in which a 49-year-old driver was involved in a collision from a dinklage. This drove the old federal road towards Cloppenburg and intended to turn left onto the B 72. He overlooked the oncoming car of a 42-year-old Emsteker. Current crime statistics in the region
In connection with the development of crime in the Oldenburger Münsterland region, a presentation of the police crime statistics in 2023 took place on March 15, 2024.
