Scandal about Norwegian ski jumper: FIS under fire!
In the course of the suit scandal at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Trondheim, the Norwegian ski jumper Robert Johansson, together with his lawyer Nicolai Loland Dolva, made serious accusations against the World Association FIS. Johansson was blocked, although no manipulation was found when he was a suit. Dolva sees Johansson's suspension as discriminatory and argues that Norwegian jumpers were not treated like individual athletes. The handling of the FIS with Johansson is referred to as "completely unprecedented, in the negative sense", such as Kreiszeitung Wesermarsch reported.
The controversy around the World Cup in Trondheim began when manipulated suits of Norwegian ski jumpers were discovered. These were equipped with a forbidden volume that should increase the stability after the jump. The affected suits were confiscated by the World Association in accordance with the World Cup and are now available for another examination. In addition to Johansson, his team -mate Marius Lindvik, Johann André Forfang, Robin Pedersen and Kristoffer Sundal also faced lockers, but they were lifted after the end of the season. Johansson also reported considerable financial losses and initially lived on his savings. Regardless of the lifting of the locks, the investigation in the World Cup scandal continues. Preliminary locks were also imposed against three officials of the Norwegian ski jumping team, including coach Magnus Brevig.
