MS Adler-Express starts again: Full drive ahead from the north beach!

Nordstrand, Deutschland - The MS "Adler-Express" will resume its regular driving service on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. The high -speed ship had failed for a week due to an engine damage. The 32-year-old MS "Adler-Express" is now ready for the coming season.

The ship connects the islands of Amrum, Sylt and Pellworm as well as the Halligen Hooge and Val Gardena in the district of North Friesland from the north beach. During the downtime, a special timetable was introduced, which applied until the regular service was resumed. The trips with the MS "Adler Rüm Hart" took place under the replacement timetable. These special trips included departures from Nordstrand and arrivals in Wittdün and needed departure times adapted due to the circumstances.

Details on the replacement timetable

  • downtime: Friday, May 2nd to Sunday, May 4th
  • departures from Nordstrand: 9.15 a.m. and 2:35 p.m.
  • arrivals in Wittdün: 10.50 a.m. and 4.15 p.m.
  • departures from Wittdün: 12.50 p.m. and 6:05 pm
  • arrivals in Nordstrand: 2.30 p.m. and 7.40 p.m.

During this time, tickets for the MS "Adler-Express" on board the MS "Adler Rüm Hart" could be accepted. However, it was not possible to run the Hallig Hooge or take day trips to Sylt. In addition, all trips from/to Wyk and Dagebüll with the MS "Adler Rüm Hart" are eliminated. The rest day on Monday, May 5th, remained on schedule.
