North Friesland's coastal protection: Dike ready for the storm season!

The North Frisian coast is well prepared for the upcoming storm season, as the state company for coastal protection (LKN) states after the autumn dike. Experts met north beach on Wednesday to check the current protective measures. Ruth Hartwig-Kruse, Mayor of Nordstrand, emphasizes the importance of the dike sheep: "The sheep are our most important dyke keepers because they make the Klei step-resistant."
