In a shocking incident in Bochum Wattenscheid, a Chihuahua was run over by a vehicle on Wednesday, October 9, while his owner led him on a leash. The tragic event occurred around 7 a.m. when the 30-year-old owner wanted to cross the street on a pedestrian traffic light with her dog. Suddenly the dog ran onto the street, exactly at the moment when a silver car turned to the left into Günnigfelder Straße from Aschenbruch and caught the little four -legged friend.

After the incident, the driver of the car fled and the police are now looking for witnesses. The traffic commissioner asks everyone who knows something about the incident to report on 0234 909-5206. The owner is destroyed and hopes for clues that can lead to identification of the driver.
