Shock accident in Bonn: truck rams line bus with school children!

On Monday morning, September 30, 2024, a terrifying traffic accident occurred in Bonn-Auerberg: a truck collided with a regular bus in which there were numerous schoolchildren at the time of the accident. The accident happened around 7:10 a.m. when the 62-year-old truck driver apparently overlooked the 601 line while he was out of the roadside. The violent impact was bursting and injured a total of seven children aged ten to fifteen years.

The injured children suffered five injuries from falling glass, while two more were injured by the impact. Particularly dramatic: A ten -year -old and a twelve -year -old boy had to be taken to hospital for outpatient treatment. The investigation into the cause of the accident is still in progress while the police are investigating the incident.
