A 35-year-old driver from Essen, who was traveling on Prosperstraße towards the city center, turned right onto Adolf-Kolping-Straße and saw a 44-year-old pedestrian from Bottrop, who was crossing the street.

The impact was violent! The pedestrian fell and contracted serious injuries. An ambulance was immediately alerted, which quickly took him to the hospital.
