Young perpetrator strikes with a hammer on a kiosk door in Breyell!

In the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, around 1:15 a.m., the police were called to a kiosk at Lambertimarkt in Breyell. An attentive resident had observed how a young man, equipped with a red object, probably an emergency hammer, attacked the entrance door of the kiosk. The perpetrator, a man about 16 to 18 years old, fled towards the train station when he was addressed by the resident.

The emergency services found that the man had hit the door several times and the window next to it. Although the glass was damaged, he could not penetrate the kiosk. The police have taken up the investigation and asks for evidence of witnesses.
