Roller driver escapes after a collision - police are looking for witnesses!

A dramatic incident occurred on September 23, 2024 in Lüdinghausen when a resident of the Flaßbieke street was alerted by loud horns and engine noises. When he stepped onto the street to see after what was going on, a scooter driver raced towards him at high speed. Despite his signal to drive more slowly, the driver ignored the warning and drove onto the man, which led to a slight injury to the residents' shoulder.

The scooter driver immediately fled from the accident site. According to testimonies, it is described as male, between 16 and 20 years old and about 180 cm tall. He had a strong stature and was wrapped in dark clothes, with a black helmet on his head. The small skating wheel, with an insurance license plate for speeds up to 45 km/h, was either black or blue. The Coesfeld police are now investigating and looking for other witnesses.
