On Friday morning, October 4, 2024, an unknown burglar in Huchem-Stammeln tries to penetrate into a single-family house on Industriestraße. Around 11:40 a.m., the man violently cracked a basement window, which frightened the house residents. They noticed it in the basement room, but the burglar immediately flee - without prey!

According to initial investigations, the man fled the street over a wall and ran towards a nearby hardware store. Despite immediate alarm by the police and intensive searches, the burglar remained disappeared. The criminal police have started the investigation and are now looking for witnesses who can provide information on the incident.
