Elderly Man Brutally Attacked in Kaarst: Police Seek Witnesses!

In Kaarst, a shocking attack on an 80-year-old man occurred on Wednesday night. At 1:15 a.m., two unknown perpetrators rang the doorbell on the door of the senior citizens' building in Girmes-Kreuz-Straße. When the man opened, he was brutally attacked, seriously injured and robbed. The aggressive intruders searched their apartment and stole valuables before they fled.

The victim could not deliver precise descriptions of the perpetrator because they were masked. However, one of the attackers with a size of about 190 centimeters and possibly in a blue pants is described. The Rhein-Kreis Neuss police have taken over the investigation and are urgently looking for witnesses who can make information about the perpetrators or suspicious observations.
