Yesterday, on September 24th, around 1:30 p.m. a fire broke out in a garage in Hermann-Bank-Straße in Mechernich-Kommern. The attentive owner of the family home noticed the smell of fire and quickly acted. She pulled her parked car out of the danger zone and managed tires from the garage to prevent worse things.

The alarmed fire brigade quickly moved and was able to successfully extinguish the fire. Thanks to the quick action of the owner and the professional reaction of the fire brigade, there was no greater damage.
