Tragic accident on L528: driver dies after collision with tree

On Sunday evening at 6:34 p.m., a serious traffic accident occurred on the L528, in which a car came off the road, crashed into a tree and was thrown back onto the road. The extinguishing groups Delle and Zurstraße of the Breckerfeld volunteer fire brigade were alerted. Despite the quick help of first aiders, the driver suffered such serious injuries that he died at the scene of the accident.

The fire brigade secured the scene of the accident, supported the driver's rescue and looked after the first aiders. In the meantime, fire protection was guaranteed and the accident site for the incoming police was illuminated. The L528 remained completely closed during the operation between the Königsheide roundabout. The fire brigade ended around 8:50 p.m.
