Klever police reveal 127 speed violations in a week!

In the past week, the district police authority Kleve again carried out extensive speed controls to increase traffic safety and avoid accidents. Between September 30 and October 6, 2024, the officers documented a total of 127 speed violations. In addition, 17 drivers and cyclists were held accountable because they used electronic devices while driving.

The police also covered 11 violations of right of way and turning regulations, while three violations of cycling and pedelecists were registered. It is alarming that 18 road users were under the influence of alcohol or drugs. A large traffic control on October 2, 2024 in Kranenburg was particularly striking, where numerous violations were found.
