Serious injuries after accident: Drivers ram pedestrians in Werdohl!

A shocking traffic accident occurred late in Werdohl in the late evening when a 55-year-old driver caught two pedestrians with his Toyota Aygo. The two victims, a 17-year-old girl and a 44-year-old man, were trying to cross the street near the fire service equipment house when the driver overlooked her from Friedensstraße to Neustadtstrasse. Both were seriously injured and suffered serious head injuries - fortunately there was no danger to life.

The driver was also slightly injured and received medical help on site. All participants were immediately taken to nearby hospitals. The police blocked the affected crossing area for about 90 minutes to secure the scene of the accident and document traces. The vehicle of the person who caused the accident was towed.
