Serious bicycle accident in Gladbeck: 75-year-old injured!

On Monday morning there was a serious accident on Horster Strasse at 10:26 a.m., in which a 75-year-old cyclist from Gladbeck was seriously injured. The pensioner drove on the walking and bike path towards the city center when a 55-year-old truck driver from Metelen collapsed with her when turning to the right into Klarastraße. The impact was violent and left the senior citizen in a critical condition.

The property damage amounts to around 200 euros, but the real consequences could be significantly more serious. The police have started the investigation to clarify the exact circumstances of the incident and to reconstruct the action.
