Honor for lifesavers: Fire brigade Tönisvorst celebrates long -standing members!

At a festive day of the honors of the Tönisvorst volunteer fire brigade, numerous comrades were recognized for their long -term voluntary work. Fire brigade leader Jens Griese opened the event, at which Mayor Uwe Leuchtenberg addressed his words of thanks to the tireless emergency services.

Heinz Gentges and Alber Roesges were particularly honored for 25 years of service and Frank Meier for 35 years. Another highlight was the award from Peter Grabowsky, Karl-Heinz Heintges, Christop Kohnen and Dusan Plohl for a proud 40 years of committed cooperation. But the true star of the evening was Ferdinand holes: he received an honor for unimaginable 60 years of membership in the volunteer fire brigade!
