Unknown driver rams Zone 30 sign and escapes in Steinfurt!

On Thursday, September 26, 2024, between 11.30 a.m. and 12.55 p.m. on Osnabrücker Straße, corner of Sonnenstrasse, a spectacular traffic accident. A previously unknown driver rammed a “Zone 30” traffic sign directly in front of a driving school, which caused the fastening post to bend and severely damaged the facade of the adjacent building.

The Steinfurt police are now looking for witnesses who have observed the incident or who can provide information on the fleeting person who caused the accident. Interested citizens are asked to contact the guard in Rheine on 05971/9 38 42 15.
