Approach on B247: Slightly injured man in Göttingen in the hospital

On Monday morning there was a traffic accident on the B247 near Northeim, in which a 31-year-old was slightly injured. The accident occurred between Katlenburg and Hammenstedt around 8:28 a.m. when a 62-year-old driver overlooked the braking car in front of him and the collision came. The injured person was taken to a hospital in Göttingen. The total damage is estimated at around 2000 euros, reported the Northeim police inspection .

This incident illustrates the increasing number of accidents. In 2022 there were over 2.4 million vehicle accidents nationwide, with the number of personal injury increase. Just another example of the worrying development in German road traffic.
