Uninvolved in Nuremberg city center attacked and deprived of young men's group: Witnesses wanted!

Nuremberg: Solidarity in the community after attack on uninvolved

In the early morning hours of July 6, 2024,

in the Nuremberg city center occurred an unfortunate incident in which an uninvolved victim of a robbery became. A 28-year-old man was near the Frauandormauer around 3.15 a.m. when he was attacked by a group of young men and deprived of his wallet.

The injured party pursued the perpetrator who had stolen the wallet was able to put it, but was sprayed with pepper spray before the thief escaped. Fortunately, an attentive witness hurried to the victim and immediately alerted the police. The financial damage incurred amounts to around 800 euros.

The group of perpetrators is described as six to seven young men aged around 18 years with the Mediterranean appearance. The criminal police have taken over the investigation and asks witnesses who have relevant information on the incident or the perpetrators to report on 0911 2112-3333.

The incident shocked the community in Nuremberg, but also led to a wave of solidarity. Local residents and business people of the district are determined to stand together and support each other in order to prevent such a crime in the future

It is important to work together in such difficult situations and to work for each other. Such solidarity behavior strengthens cohesion in the community and sends a clear sign against any form of violence.
