Donkey hike inspires children at the holiday program in Schnaittach

This summer, the children experienced an extraordinary adventure hike in the Schnaittacher holiday program that they will not forget so quickly. The Franconian Alb Association Schnaittachtal (FAV) had invited to spend an unforgettable time together with two donkeys. Around 20 children came to the Schnaittach train station at high summer temperatures to start the special excursion.

The two donkeys, Tiberia and Cesar were waiting for the children, who provided a lot of joy when they arrived. While Cesar, who is considered the older gentleman at the age of 30, remained calm himself, the seven -year -old Tiberia was already known for her temperament. This young donkey has even performed considerably at the donkey race in Hersbruck and took sixth place. A small success factor that aroused even more enthusiasm among the children.

The donkeys who are actually at home in Kersbach had already made their way to Schnaittach with their owner in the early morning to take part in this special experience. Under the bright sunshine, the group and the two donkeys made their way back to the stable and the coupling in Kersbach. During the hike, the donkeys showed their gentle mind and accompanied the excited troops, which only raised the mood.

Before going back to Schnaittach, the children took a stop at the playground in Kersbach. Here they were allowed to take a little break and let off steam before the hike continued with a steep climb over the Rothenberg. It was astonishing to see how patient the donkeys were. They could be conducted with calm serenity and found a lot of fun to be caressed by the children. The two donkeys were rewarded with delicacies such as apples, carrots and hay, which the children lovingly got out of their backpacks.

The combination of green forest, the lively donkey and the sociable atmosphere among the children made this event an all -round successful experience. The natural environment with all its sounds and scents did the rest to make the adventure even more exciting. It was not only fun for the children, but also an opportunity to learn responsibility and care in dealing with the animals.
