Hombach fetches the eagle from the rod at traditional shooting festival

Last weekend the annual citizens' shooting festival took place in the idyllic Sinspert in the “Siesperter Art”. The celebrations culminated in the royal bird shooting, in which Frank Hombach crowned the new rifle king with the 176th shot. A special highlight was also the Liesel shooting, which became a true game of patience.

The royal eagle, who at the beginning looked so impressive, was stubbornly attacked by the determined shooters. After the two wings were successfully shot down, Frank Hombach decided with a precise shot for the royal title. The chairman of the shooting club, René Kauffmann, described the tension and ambition of the participants during shooting.

The children's king's bird shooting also took place, in which Luca Dresbach crowned itself with 36 shots to become the new regent. With the shooters, Rosi Schneider finally succeeded after over four hours, the Lieselvogel with the 358th shot.

In addition to the royal dignity, the Reichshof king was also determined. Jannis Hagenow was able to adorn himself with the title after the 217th shot. The ceremony took place by Mayor Rüdiger Gennies, who also honored the imperial couple Manuel Dresbach and Evelyn.

As a final highlight, long -standing members of the shooting club were honored. Among other things, people were honored for their 25, 40 and even 50-year membership. In addition, some shooters received honorary membership for their many years of engagement in the club.
