Next Saturday, August 24th, the Biological Station Oberberg invites you to an unusual journey of discovery. As part of the international batnight, both children and adults can take part in a bat excursion. The event takes place in the Ohler Wiesen along the Wupper in Wipperfürth and offers fascinating insights into the mysterious life of these nocturnal flight.

under the direction of Florian Schöllnhammer, an experienced scientist from the Biological Station Oberberg, the participants are equipped with flashlights and an ultrasonic detector. Together they explore the surroundings and learn interesting facts about the fascinating bats while the darkness is slowly falling.

The expedition starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Wasserquintet base station in Lüdenscheider Straße 47 b. This unusual night tour is not only suitable for adventurous, but also for families, handicapped people and wheelchair travelers. The participation fee is 10 euros for adults and 5 euros for children - an investment in a unique experience that stimulates the senses and deepens the understanding of the domestic wildlife.
