Telekom is building a new mobile radio tower in Oberhausen - reception even better!
The mobile phone supply in Oberhausen has received a strong boost! Deutsche Telekom has built a new mobile phone location, which enormously improved the cover in the city. Now the reception not only flies through the air outside, but also indoors in the buildings. According to Dr. Markus Jodl, company spokesman for Telekom, increases the need for bandwidth annually by impressive 30 percent. Therefore, the gas is given properly when expanding the mobile phone.
In the district of Weilheim-Schongau, Telekom currently operates 43 locations, with a household coverage of around 99 percent. 26 other locations are to be added by 2026, and extensions with LTE or 5G are on the plan on six existing radio masts. Telekom also relies on cooperation with municipalities to secure the necessary areas for new locations. Anyone who can offer a suitable roof or a mast for rent is encouraged to contact the German radio tower. Details can be found in a current report from www.presseportal.de .
