60 years of love and happiness: Offenburg goalkeeper celebrates anniversary!

Albrecht and Erika Allgeier from Offenburg celebrate their remarkable 60th anniversary this year! The bride and groom, who married on March 15, 1963, can look back on a long, harmonious marriage that is characterized by deep trust and a lot of adaptability. "We have not regretted it, despite an unforeseen pregnancy," says Erika, who still remembers the strict reaction of her Catholic mother.

The two met for the first time in 1962 at the Griesheimer Shrovetide and quickly fell in love - while Albrecht is in the goal, Erika grabs his heart! After many years together and building a life including two children, three grandchildren and two great -grandchildren, they last moved to Offenburg. "Here it is quiet and there are many shops," says Albrecht, who, together with his wife, sees the key to her relationship in the joint overcoming of all challenges.

The Allgeierers are not only loving, but also loyal readers of the Offenburg Tageblatt. "Nothing works without the OT in the morning," they confirm, showing that they have already shared many things together in their marriage - which may be the secret of their longstanding happiness.
