Celebrate Rammersweier winegrowers: 13th honorary award for top wines!
In a festive framework in the Kelterhalle of the Rammersweier wine cooperative, employees and winegrowers gathered on Monday, October 28, to celebrate a remarkable success. Despite the challenges of late frosts, the Rammersweier winemakers were able to proudly look back on their awards in the regional wine award of the Baden winegrowing association: the small producer group was honored again with an honorary award and 37 wines received a gold medal. Managing Director Georg Lehmann reported that the performance of three noble sweet wines, which ranked in the top ten Baden.
This is already the second honorary award in a row for the winegrowers' cooperative, which has collected a total of 13 of these awards under the direction of cellar master Siegfried Kiefer. "The basics of good wine qualities are laid in the vineyard," emphasized Kiefer. Two wines with a gold medal and two wines with gold specially provided for further recognition. The official congratulations from local mayor Trudpert Hurst also failed: "The whole place is proud of the small producer community, which remains independent despite hard competition," says Hurst. These successes are evaluated as proof of the commitment and quality of the work in the region, which welds the community even more closely together.
