SVO offensive fought for the first home win: Giardini shines with triple pack

In an exciting Oberliga game, the SVO achieved its first home win and that with an impressive performance. The game against the U21 of the regional league team FC 08 Villingen ended with a convincing 4: 1, in which Emanuele Giardini was significantly involved. When the trainer Fabian Himmel spoke of a trend -setting game before the encounter, he could hardly have guessed how significantly the success would be.

From the beginning, the home side took control of the game. Already in the 14th minute it was Nico Huber, who conquered the ball with his energetic efforts and sent Emanuele Giardini on the trip. This did not miss the chance and achieved the early lead for the SVO. Just seven minutes later it was Giardini again who pushed in 2-0. Luca Fritz had previously deducted in the 21st minute, but Villingen's goalkeeper Lavdrim Amiti could not clarify the ball. Giardini was right and converted the rebound into the left upper corner precisely. The first half ended with a deserved lead that could have been even higher.

As soon as the referee was initiated to the second round, the disaster took its course for the guests: Giardini netted again and with his third goal in the 46th minute to 3: 0. This hit had the hopes of the Black Forest grows. Flavio Vogt was able to score the connection goal for 1: 3 in the 57th minute after Nill Hauser made a fatal mistake, but the SVO did not do so.

From the 74th minute, the SVO was once again dangerous when Marvin Ludwig pushed in after a corner kick by Mehmet Güzelcoban and thus produced the final score of 4: 1. The game was decided, and even a post shot by Kevin Gießler in the 87th minute could not harm the good mood of the home fans. The SVO finally had the feeling that it would secure a real home advantage in its own stadium. The next opponent, the FSV 08 Bietigheim-Bissingen, is waiting for the sky team on Wednesday at 7 p.m. before going home against 1. FC Pforzheim on Saturday.

The dynamics of the game showed that the SVO is on the right track. With a strong team performance and the outstanding Giardini, who demonstrated his class with his triple pack, the future looks promising for the team.
