Confident in the dark: Women's power at the Nightwalk in Hude!

Hude, Deutschland - Dark streets and unknown faces - many women feel insecure in such situations. In order to fight these fears, Gaby Bothe, trainer for self -defense and assertion, offers a "Nightwalk" in Hude, which goes over two hours. The event, in cooperation with the equality officer Margaretha Stolle, focuses on learning de -escalation techniques and strengthens the self -confidence of the participants. "Personality training to overcome blocking behavior patterns is also part of the program," explains Stolle.

The Nightwalk met with great interest: the booked event with 25 women was considered a complete success. Participants brought their own experiences and developed individual solutions. Stolle and Bothe also emphasize the need to address the topic of domestic violence and call up affected women to contact the community. Further Nightwalk appointments are planned in the coming weeks: October 23 in Ahlhorn, November 8th in Wardenburg, November 15th in Ganderkesee and November 27th in Wildeshausen. More information and registrations are available from the respective equal opportunities officers. Detailed information can be found on www.dk-online.de .
