Teddy bears under the microscope: visit to pediatricians in the Oldenburg Clinic!

Teddy bears under the microscope: visit to pediatricians in the Oldenburg Clinic!

In an exciting initiative, the Teddy Bärkrankenhaus in the Oldenburg Clinic invites children aged three to six years to have their cuddly toys examined by medical students. On November 5 and 6, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., the little patients can expect an exciting open consultation. You can come without prior registration, but the beloved cuddly toy must be brought along.

The children have the opportunity to have their teddies at four different stations - including consulting rooms, laboratory and operating room - medically checked. During this interactive experience, you can easily find out how hospital visits take place and can explore an ambulance. At the crowning glory, a little surprise awaits the young participants. This popular project, which originated in Scandinavia in the 1990s, takes place in many German cities, including Oldenburg, and is supported by the association of friends and sponsors of the University Medical Center Northwest.
