Himalaya: Fabian conquers the death zone and experiences magical summit moment!

Fabian Arens celebrated a remarkable summit day at the weekend and successfully climbed the eight -eight mountain in the world, the Manaslu. At an altitude of 7,800 meters, in the dreaded "death zone", the mountaineer decided to continue with additional oxygen in order to master the last few meters to the summit. "My body was suddenly back," said Fabian, after taking fresh oxygen. At 4 a.m. he experienced an incomparable moment: no other mountaineer in sight and a breathtaking view of the Himalaya at sunrise.

Overall, the expedition lasted five weeks and was characterized by challenges, including isolation due to extreme monsoon rain that caused devastating floods in the Region. Despite these difficult circumstances and the danger, Fabian and his group started the return trip without injuries. A quick and safe adventure that Fabian makes proud, as he says himself.
