Children's experience path in Olpe: Newly designed path planned with exciting stations
Kürten: Children in Olpe benefit from leader funding
The municipality of Olpe in Kürten plans an innovative children's experience path to further increase the attractiveness of the place. With the support of the Leader Bergisches Wasserland funding program, the plans for the 3.7 km long path have accepted concrete forms. The head of the Citizens' Interest Group Olpe, Ralf Füssel, and his board team are enthusiastic about the positive development. The financing of the project was secured thanks to the LEADER funding, which was supplemented by agreed funds from the community.
children's experience path as a new attraction
The planned path leads through the picturesque landscape of Olpes and awaits the young visitors at a total of eight exciting stations. The route not only offers entertainment for children, but also for adults, and contains activities such as bouncy ropes, telescopes and forest sofas. The idea of such a path corresponds to an ever increasing trend to make nature experiences more accessible to children and to promote playful learning.
integration of the local community
The networking of the children's experience path with local gastronomy and residents is an important element of the project. Big took measures in spring to prepare the natural paths and actively integrate residents into the planning process. The commitment of the community and its residents can be seen in the diverse design of the path and the integration of various actors.
witch figure as a special highlight
A planned starting point for the adventure path could be a Corten steel witch figure that is reminiscent of the traditional fair in Olpe. The concept of the path builds on local customs and stories to offer the children a unique experience. The interest group is striving to present Olpe as a lively, historic place and to inspire visitors to the cultural and natural treasures of the region.
This initiative shows the importance of leader grants for the development of communities and the promotion of education and nature experiences for children. Due to the planned measures, Olpe not only becomes more attractive as a place of residence, but also as a destination for families and nature lovers.
