Dachsbau under L 87: Refurbishment begins - traffic light remains!

On Monday, October 14th, the construction work for renovating a road reduction on the L 87 near Freistett in the Ortenaukreis begins. This lowering was caused by a roof building that was created under the road. In order to maintain the flow of traffic during the construction work, a provisional bypass is set up, while traffic continues to be guided past the construction site by traffic light. The work is expected to be completed by mid -November.

The construction work includes the complete digestion of the roof building and the professional refilling of the hollow point in order to restore the stability of the road. In addition, after completing the work, a steel mat will be installed in the street embankment in order to prevent future grave activities through a badgers at this point.
