Rosary Festival in Untergröningen: Celebration of hope and tradition!

The traditional Rosary Festival recently took place in Abtsgmünd-Untergröningen, which was celebrated with an impressive pilgrimage to the Materreleberg from the Heerberg. Under the spiritual chair of Pastor Jürgen Kreutzer and the preaching of Pastor Martin Stöffelmaier from Rainau-Schwabsberg, numerous believers gathered to pray together for peace and hope. Stöffelmaier emphasized the importance of the veneration of Mary in times of crisis, a topic that was of particular urgency in the face of global conflicts.

The festive service was musically designed by the choir "Cantate Domino" from Schwäbisch Gmünd, whose urgent singing of peace was underlined. After the service, the participants were invited to a sociable get -together in the blackboard of the castle, where the traditional sweet pilgrimage braids were waiting for the guests. The roots of this impressive pilgrimage back to 1892, when the characters of Our Lady were acquired by the Catholic parish and set up in the castle church of St. Michael. An exciting insight into the tradition, which is also associated with artistically carved figures by well -known masters. Further information provides an article at www.remszeitung.de .
