The event, which was peaceful and was supported by various political and social groups, set a clear signal against the AfD, which carried out a rally with around 100 participants on this day.
Several meetings took place in the city of Heide, followed by further protests in which around 400 people took part. Other cities, such as Kappeln with around 1,000 people and Neumünster with the working group "Democracy, if ...", organized rallies.
The latest protests in Schleswig-Holstein underline the growing commitment of the population against right-wing extremist tendencies in society.
