Alcoholic accident escape in Brakel - police reveals two cases

In the early morning hours, an incident occurred in Brakel-Schulten that called the police onto the scene. A driver caused an accident when reversing, in which a parked car was damaged. Instead of taking care of the damage, the driver decided to drive away. Soon afterwards, the police managed to track down the fleeting nearby.

It turned out that the person who caused the accident was under the influence of alcohol. But that's not all - during the control of this driver, the officers stopped another driver who wanted to pass the checkpoint. He also showed signs of alcohol consumption. Blood samples were then removed from both drivers, their driver's licenses were drawn in and advertisements were reimbursed against them.

The following investigations are now in the hands of the Höxter traffic commissioner. These incidents in Brakel-Schmechten once again illustrate the importance of regular alcohol controls and the consequences that threaten to pass through alcohol.
