Blienert for the SPD Bundestag election: Social justice counts!

Paderborn, Deutschland - Burkhard Blienert was once again elected as the SPD candidate for the Bundestag in the Paderborn district. At the constituency meeting in Lichtenau, the Delbrücker received an impressive 92.9 percent of the vote. Blienert, who is currently working as a federal drug officer, was in the Bundestag from 2013 to 2017 and was also a candidate in 2017 and 2021 without getting a place.

In his speech, the 58-year-old emphasized the need to build more skills in the field of social and internal security. He praised his party's successes, such as the introduction of the minimum wage and the increase in BAföG and housing benefit. At the same time, he confessed that the outer display of the traffic light coalition has weaknesses. Blienert is committed to social justice, job -bound jobs and investments in the social infrastructure and talks about the challenges that migration and unemployment bring. The chairwoman of the SPD in the district of Paderborn, Nele Czaniera, is convinced that Blienert will reliably conduct the party through the election year.

In addition, the Social Democrats chose delegates for the state delegate conference of the NRW-SPD, which will take place in Duisburg in May 2025, as reports www.nw.de .
