From today on, Driburger Straße between Benhauser Straße and Gierstor will be blocked in the city in Paderborn. This measure also affects access to Gierswall, Busdorfwall and Giersstraße, with a detour via the Berliner Ring, Herbert-Schwieten-Ring and Detmold Straße. The reason? Urgent renovation work on a channel that was built in 1937 and has massive building damage.From next Monday, October 28th, the entrance to Giersstrasse will also be closed; It can then only be reached via Heiersstraße. For pedestrians and cyclists, however, everything remains the same. The renovation work is expected to continue until Christmas, and all information about the closures are available in the traffic service.
