Celebrate the day of the costume at the Gautrachtenfest in Untergriesbach!

The celebration of the Bavarian costumes and the feeling of home

Next Sunday, July 14th, not only the Gautrachtenfest is celebrated in Untergriesbach, but also the first "day of costume". This day was launched by the Bavarian Trachtenverband, the State Association for Homeland Care and the Ministry of Homeland to present the diversity and beauty of the Bavarian costumes.

Originally, the date for the Gautrachtenfest 2024 was determined by the traditional costume association "Immergrün" Lämmersdorf. The unforeseen collision with the day of costume next Sunday shows how harmoniously these two events can go hand in hand.

A photo competition for all traditional costume lovers

In addition to the Gautrachtenfest and the day of the costume, a photo competition is organized, in which anyone can take part who will take a original picture of themselves on July 14th. The participants have the chance to win great prizes such as traditional hats, traditional costumes and much more. Even the best group picture is rewarded.

The celebrations in Lämmersdorf

The traditional costume association "Immergrün" Lämmersdorf celebrates this occasion with a folk and gautracht festival, which at the same time marks its 75th anniversary. The celebrations take place from July 11th to 15th and offer numerous events such as a festival and home evening, a craftsman market and of course the climax on the Gaufest Sunday.
