Fürstenstein community library receives library seals in gold from diocesan librarian

The golden seal for outstanding library engagement

In a solemn ceremony in the Fürstenstein community library, the Gold library seal was recently presented to the committed management team. Diocesan librarian Hildegard Franz praised not only the outstanding commitment of the employees, but also the active work of the Fürstenstein municipality as the bearer of the facility. The gold seal was given as a special award for the exemplary work that made it possible for the library to fulfill almost all criteria for this prestigious recognition.

The recertification of the seal represents an important milestone that underlines the high quality and high standard of the library in Fürstenstein. Of a total of 125 libraries in the Diocese of Passau, the library in Fürstenstein is one of the few who have received this coveted award.

The Golden Seal is not only a confirmation of the excellent work of the team, but also an incentive to continuously develop and improve the offer and the service. Due to the close cooperation between the employees, the municipality and the diocesan librarian, a real success model was created, which serves as a model for other libraries in the region.
