A fascinating event is just around the corner: The district of Lower Bavaria opens its creative gates and invites the art lovers to experience the exciting world of studio art up close! Under the motto "Ateliers in Lower Bavaria. Day of the Open Art Workshop", an impressive number of 189 studios will be amazed and discovered on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Where exactly does art arise? This exciting day of action revolves around the variety of creative spaces: whether in the traditionally converted city, in the light -flooded cultivation or even at the home kitchen table - each studio has its own unique atmosphere. Visitors can expect a colorful potpourri of styles: from painting and sculpture to digital art forms and video installations! New worlds open here!

The opportunity to look behind the scenes and to get into conversation with the artists is an absolute highlight! If you always wanted to know how a bronze sculpture is created or from which materials fine gold and silver objects are made from, you are exactly right here. The creative minds explain everything about their materials such as tone, bronze or acrylic paints and provide insights into their special work equipment, from eraser to bristle brushes. Sketches and designs make the process of creation of the works of art understandable and tangible!

Particularly worth mentioning: The day is inclusive! 43 Ateliers in particular invite blind people to feel the works of art with their hands. In addition, proud 58 Atelier's barrier -free access - an invitation to everyone, without immersion in the world of art!
