Apple truck crashes: fire brigade in large-scale use in Moorrege!

A truck with about 20 tons of apples was overturned on Monday morning, October 7th, into Moorrege (Pinneberg district). The driver was on the Haselauer Chaussee around 8.15 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle due to a slippery banquet. The truck tipped onto the right side and the apples were distributed in an adjacent field. Fortunately, the driver was not injured, although the truck was badly damaged.

The fire brigade and police blocked the street for several hours to secure the Situation. While the fire brigade took over the empty pumps of the diesel tanks, the emergency services from Uetersen saw no way to re -set the fallen truck with the approximately 140,000 apples. A special crane was requested, the arrival of which lasted until noon. The resulting property damage is not yet known, reported the fire brigade .
