A serious traffic accident occurred on Wednesday evening in the small community of Moordiek. A 67-year-old motorcyclist from Uetersen suffered significant injuries in the incident, while the driver of the car involved remained intact at the age of 36. The incident took place on Landesstraße 115 at 6:45 p.m.

The situation developed when the biker was traveling in a vehicle snake in the direction of itzehoe. The driver who drove some vehicles in front of him planned to turn left into a property entrance. In order to announce his turning process, he operated the indicator, but in the meantime the motorcyclist overtook the entire series of vehicles and suddenly came together with the other driver's vehicle. This carelessness led to a violent impact that brought down and seriously injured the motorcyclist.
