On Saturday evening, a serious traffic accident occurred on the federal road 431, at the intersection Obendeich, between a car and a motorcycle. At 6:15 p.m., a 65-year-old Glückstädter drove his company car into the intersection and collided with a 21-year-old motorcyclist from Neuendorf. The impact was so violent that the young man was thrown by his machine and stayed with the roadside around 35 meters behind the accident site. His condition required a rapid delivery to the hospital in Hamburg, but there was no danger to life during the accident.

The car driver was not injured, but his wife suffered minor injuries in the passenger seat and had to be taken to the Itzehoe Clinic.
