Police are looking for witnesses: Pictures of the perpetrators from the robbery in Saarbrücken
Saarbrücken (Saarland) - who knows these two suspects?
The Saarbrücken police have been looking for two men since Tuesday who have tried to rob a 37-year-old man. The incident occurred a good four months ago, in the night of April 17 to April 17, 2024, around 2.10 a.m. in St. Johanner Strasse in Saarbrücken.
The two men demanded cash from the 37-year-old in the protection of the dark. When the victim refused, one of the perpetrators threatened with a knife. The situation quickly escalated: one of the attackers stabbed the man from behind with a pointed object, probably the knife, in the back. The injured had to be treated medically, but fortunately his injuries were not life -threatening.
police published photos of the suspects
The two attackers fled without prey after the attack and have been going through since then. Despite extensive search measures, the search for them was unsuccessful. At the request of the police authority and after a judicial approval from the Saarbrücken district court, it has now been decided to give the suspects to the public. This decision was made in consideration between the interest in successful law enforcement and the rights of the people depicted.
The two alleged perpetrators were later spotted at the Saarbrücken main station and photographed with a cell phone. The police now use these photos to find witnesses who can provide information about the people depicted.
