on February 19, 2025, around 4.30 p.m., there was a remarkable incident on a petrol station area on Berliner Strasse in Wittenberg. An 18-year-old VW driver drove backwards and rammed the parked Mazda of a 50-year-old woman, with damage of 500 euros. But instead of taking care of the accident, the young driver continued his journey out of town - a classic case of driver flight!

Thanks to the attentive witness, the person causing the accident could be identified quickly. The police took up his arrest and initiated criminal proceedings against him. It is clear: Flight is not a solution and the judiciary will not stand by!
